Create Passport

1.Register on Official Portal:

Visit the official portal passportindia.gov.in (or download the official mPassport Seva app). Click on New User Registration, select your local passport office (e.g., Ahmedabad for Anand/Kheda/Central Gujarat), and create a login ID and password.

2.Fill Out the Application Form:

Log in and select Apply for Fresh Passport / Re-issue of Passport. Choose Normal or Tatkal quota and booklet size (36 pages standard or 60 pages jumbo). Fill in your personal information, address, educational details, family names, and emergency contact details.

3.Pay Fee & Schedule Appointment:

Navigate to View Saved/Submitted Applications and select Pay and Schedule Appointment. Pay online using UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or SBI Challan. Select your preferred appointment location:

• Nearby Centers: You can choose a full-service PSK (Passport Seva Kendra in Vadodara or Ahmedabad) or a local POPSK (Post Office Passport Seva Kendra in Anand or Nadiad).

4.Visit Center for Biometrics & Verification:

Visit the PSK/POPSK on your scheduled date and time with your printed appointment receipt and original documents plus two sets of self-attested photocopies. At the center, your biometric data (photograph, fingerprints, digital signature) will be captured, and documents verified.

5.Police Verification & Delivery:

After counter clearance, a physical Police Verification report will be initiated at your local police station. Once cleared, your passport (now issued as a chip-enabled e-Passport booklet) will be dispatched via India Post Speed Post to your registered address.
